Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026)
Following two years in which student conference abstracts formed the foundation of our publications, it is my distinct pleasure to introduce the first full volume of experimental articles in the Graduate Journal of Sport Science, Coaching, Management, and Rehabilitation (GJSSCMR). This milestone represents a significant step in the journal's development and reflects the growing ambition and capability of emerging scholars across our discipline.
The breadth of work presented in this volume is a testament to the vitality of sport science research at the formative stages of an academic career. While the majority of contributions originate from final-year undergraduate projects, a tradition we remain proud to champion, this volume also marks a welcome expansion into postgraduate scholarship, a development the editorial team regards with considerable encouragement.
The quality of work throughout is genuinely impressive, and I extend my sincere congratulations to all contributing authors. Particularly noteworthy is the international reach this volume has achieved; the fact that scholars from beyond our immediate academic community have chosen GJSSCMR as a vehicle for their work, speaks to the journal's emerging reputation and the universal relevance of the questions being explored within these pages.
On behalf of the entire editorial team, I offer our warmest thanks to every author, reviewer, and reader who has supported this journal. We hope you find this issue both stimulating and inspiring, and we invite you to consider GJSSCMR as a home for your future work.
Enjoy the volume,
Professor Stuart Goodall
